Our Kapolei facility includes an indoor pool, state of the art exercise equipment, a dedicated modality room, cardio equipment, massage room as well as private treatment rooms.

REHAB WITH US

Bridging the gap between rehabilitation and performance, physical therapy at Elam Sports O`ahu focuses on a holistic approach to injury, encompassing a complete evaluation of the injury and surrounding areas, looking for deficiencies and weaknesses that could have factored in to the injury taking place.

A typical treatment session consists of multi-depth water exercises that promote cardiovascular endurance, alignment and stabilization.

92 degree water (recommended by the Arthritis Foundation) increases muscle extensibility and reduces pain. Bouyancy provides assistive range-of-motion on extremities, and allows for unloading in weight bearing activities. Adjustable current generator challenges all patients from the deconditioned to professional athletes.
